On March 23, 2026, Tribal Council approved an extension of the current moratorium on new citizenship applications.
Moratorium Period:
The moratorium on new citizenship applications remains in effect through May 31, 2026 and applies to any applications dated after September 22, 2025.
No new citizenship applications will be accepted during this period. The moratorium allows the Tribe time to address administrative and citizenship-related matters. Council will review the status of the moratorium prior to its expiration, and any changes will be announced through official Tribal communication channels.

The Tribal Council determines when the rolls are opened or closed. There are no exceptions to this requirement. The Enrollment Department is in the process of updating all it’s Tribal files. Over the course of the years, tribal members have moved and in turn received new addresses and phone numbers. We must keep these records up to date with this information for Federal Recognition and other Tribal Business.
