We are grateful that you decided to explore our career opportunities to consider becoming part of our team. We welcome innovative, dynamic, and inspiring talent. A few things you should know are:
General Provisions:
- All job descriptions and vacancy announcements have been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within the stated classifications. They are not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the position or job title.
- The selected applicant for any employment opportunity must successfully comply with and satisfactorily pass applicable drug and background screening requirements. Salary rates advertised are ranges only. Specific hiring rates are based on applicable education and experience requirements, as well as the Tribe’s internal salary scale requirements.
- All positions are competitive. All employment applications and supportive employment material will be evaluated based on the relevance of the applicant's qualifications and experience as it applies to the position the applicant seeks to obtain.
- Candidates desiring to apply for any position must submit a fully completed employment application, or a resume with cover letter before the closing date advertised for the position to receive consideration.
- All full-time employee benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, holiday pay, paid time off, and 401k.
- Applications and resumes received after the closing date for a position WILL NOT be considered.
Exceptions:
- Section 703(i) of Title VII of the United States Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2(i)(1982), provides an exception to Title VII’s general nondiscrimination principles through which Indian tribal nations exercise an employment and contracting preference in favor of American Indians. Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act of 1975, 25 U.S.C. § 450e(b), requires the inclusion of Indian preference provisions in certain federal contracts and grants.
- The Tribe reserves the right to amend duties and change responsibilities of jobs and positions, as well as change job titles and assignments to meet its governmental, business, and organizational needs. Job descriptions do not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise.
- The Tribe will only employ those persons that are citizens of the United States of America or legal aliens authorized to maintain employment in the United States of America.
- The Tribe gives preference to enrolled citizens of the Tribe and citizens of other Indian nations for employment and Indian/tribally owned businesses for contracting opportunities. In other than the preceding situations, the Tribe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
